HCS High Schools Continue to Improve AP Performance with Multiple 2025 AP Honor Schools Recognitions
Henry County Schools high schools placed in seven of eight categories on the Georgia Department of Education’s (GaDOE) recently released 2025 Advanced Placement (AP) Honor Schools list.

Henry County Schools students showed growth and gains in mathematics during the 2023-2024 school year, according to Georgia Milestones results recently released by the Georgia Department of Education.

Districtwide and school-level graduation rates for Henry County Schools continue to outpace the state, according to data released Oct. 8 by the Georgia Department of Education.

The Henry County Board of Education approved the appointment of Dr. John Pace III as the new Superintendent of Henry County Schools at a special called board meeting on Aug. 6. Tuesday’s unanimous vote followed the 14-day waiting period required by Georgia law.

As Henry County Schools families prepare for the first day of school on Aug. 1, around 6,000 district- and school-based employees have been working diligently to ensure an exceptional school year for each of nearly 44,000 anticipated students.
