Mrs. Mandisa Potter, Assistant Principal
Greetings My New Dutchtown Family!
My name is Mandisa Potter and I am excited to be your new Assistant Principal! I am coming to Dutchtown with over twenty-four years of experience from Oakland Elementary School and the DeKalb County School District. Of those twenty-four years, I have had one year as an Assistant Principal, seventeen years of classroom experience, and six years outside of the classroom as an Instructional Support Specialist and MTSS Specialist. Although I am not originally from Georgia, I have called Georgia home since graduating from Clark-Atlanta University in 1998 with my bachelors in Early Childhood Education. I have also obtained my Masters degree from Kennesaw State University in Educational Leadership. I have been a resident of Henry County since 2004 where my husband and I have raised our three beautiful daughters, with my oldest two being Henry County School graduates. Fun fact, my oldest daughter is also a Henry County School teacher! I have always had a love and joy for educating young minds and I firmly believe in early childhood education. I am committed to serving the students at Dutchtown ES by creating an environment that is conducive to learning by building positive relationships while focusing on increasing student achievement. I am looking forward to meeting all of the parents, students, and staff and becoming part of the Dutchtown family. So, when you see me in the hall, please don't hesitate to introduce yourself or just say, "Hey!"
Educationally Yours, Mrs. Mandisa Potter🌺
